COVID19: Mizoram records five new cases, tally mounts to 117

Five women have tested positive for coronavirus inMizoram, pushing the tally to 117, a Health Department official said on Monday.

In a report by PTI stated the five patients hadrecently returned to the state from Delhi, are from Mamit district, he said. "Atotal of 682 samples were tested at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) on Sunday andfive of them were found positive," the official said.

The patients are aged between 21 and 23 years andasymptomatic, the report added. Mizoram has now 116 active cases, the officialsaid, adding that 59 patients are females and 57 males.
