Cow smugglers nabbed in Basistha

On Thursday evening 8 numbers of cow smuggling vehicle have nabbed by Hindu Jagaran Mancha at Basistha Chariali in Guwahati.

As per reports, the locals of the region had nabbed the vehicle along with a huge number of cows, which were smuggled from various regions of Barpeta, Chaigaon, Mangaldoi and many other districts of the state.

It has been alleged by the locals that, the cow smugglers used to manage the police administration and running such kind of illegal business across the state.

Later, the locals of the region had handed over the cows along with the vehicles and 10 driver-handyman's to Basistha police.
