The political parties in the state have more interest in personal issues rather than interests of people. It is low level of politics where representatives of political parties giving statements on personal issues.

All the political parties are responsible for decreasing level of politics at present. They are beginning a new chapter which is not good for democracy.

Having no valid issues political leaders were seen campaigning for upcoming election using low level techniques.

Few political leaders have lost their mental stability in the fear of losing and have been blabbering gibberish.

Few days ago, BJP Candidate for Tezpur lok Sabha constituency Pallab Lochan Das referred to Congress nominee and former additional chief secretary MGVK Bhanu as a 'salani maas' from Andhra Pradesh. He also called Bhanu as 'Burha Goru'.

State Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Gaurav Gogoi (Congress MP Candidate from Kaliabor), Promod Borthakur (BJP MLA Biswanath) and many political leaders have applied 'Dance politics' to woo voters in Lok Sabha election campaigns. While AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal was found casting spells and distributing magical waters in Muslim inhabited areas.
