Darrang COVID-19: 39 new cases recorded

In a recent update, 39 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection on Wednesday have been recorded in the Darrang district of Assam.

An Asomiya Pratidin Mangaldoi correspondent Gautam Dutta has tested positive for COVID-19.

Staff of few tea stalls and restaurants have tested positive for the infection too. This has raised serious concerns related to community spreading of the virus.

So far, 481 positive cases have been reported in the district out of which 316 people have recovered.
