Deben Dutta Murder: 10 more arrested

In a recent update, police arrested 10 more accused in the allegation of involvement in Teok doctor mob lynching incident on Monday night.

As per reports, the hearing process will start from today till 5th September, 2019. The hearing will be taken by the Addl. Deputy Commissioner at the Circle office of Teok in Jorhat.

The investigating officer seeks for the concern of the variousorganizations along with the public in this regard.

Reportedly, the accused, who were arrested on Monday night have beenidentified as Debeswar Rajkhowa, Kartik Bhomij, Ramdev Majhi, KalicharanMahili, Rameswar Bhomij, Bijit Mahili, Sanjai Rajkhowa, Rahul Rajkhowa, JintuMajhi and Pinku Majhi.

The figure of arrested accused has been increased up to 36 till date andamong them, 22 had sent to judicial custody. Moreover one of the accused namelyMukul Rajkhowa is a BJP member of Balma Village Panchayat.

It may be stated that the incident took place on Saturday, where DoctorDeben Dutta lynched by mob with broken glass to death.
