Deben Dutta Murder: Jorhat Police Submits 602 Page Report

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Shivprasad said that a 602 page report of the 32 accused on Dr. Deben Dutta's murder has been submitted to the Chief Judicial Magistrate court by Jorhat police.

Addressing the media persons, DIG Shivprasad said, "Along with the report, the statement of 60 witnesses, 20 videos of the incident and 72 screenshots have also been submitted. The report has been submitted within 22 days of the incident with the help of a DIG, one district Superintendent of Police, DSP, officer-in-charge and 22 Sub-Inspectors."

The DIG alsoinformed that as per the instruction of the court, a Unit Protection Team hasbeen formed to protect the witnesses of the incident.
