Delhi students continue protest against Citizenship Bill

Pratidin Bureau

Continuing their protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, the students from Assam, who are pursuing education in Delhi, have staged protest against the much-debated Bill yet again on Thursday.

The protesting students questioned Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's silence regarding the issue, which is burning the State. "Why Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal is not taking any steps for the people who had considered him as Jatiya Nayak?" asked a student while speaking to Pratidin Time.

The students from Delhi University also shouted slogans against the CM and displayed play-cards against him. Earlier, the students had staged protest against the Bill on Wednesday at Jantar Mantar.
