Dhubri: Minor fire at quarantine centre

A fire broke out at a quarantine centre on Saturday in Chapar Rajah Chakra area of Dhubri district in Assam.

A short circuit triggered the fire at the Rangmati quarantine centre creating a distressful situation for the staff and the coronavirus infected patients.

Currently, there are 320 patients in the quarantine centre. There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries so far. All the patients were rescued safely.
