Digboi Refinery: CMU Opposes Item Job System

The Contractual Mazdoor Union (CMU) of Digboi Refinery's protest has entered the second day opposing the Item Job system on Wednesday.

The protesters have been continuing their protest in front of the Administrative Building of the refinery opposing the system.

The protesters alleged that, if the Item Job system would start in therefinery, more than 1600 contractual workers will lose their jobs.

Moreover, earlier also the workers use to submit a memorandum to their higher authority and staged many other protests opposing the system.

It may be stated that the protest will continue till 29 November.
