Doctorsstaged protest in Golaghat today pertaining to the attack on a doctor by teagarden workers.

The incident occurred on May 06 when Dr Prabin Borthakur was attacked by tea workers in Dikom Tea Estate.

Accordingto reports, the chaotic situation erupted after the death of a patient.

Wearing blackbadges, doctors launched the sit-in strike on Saturday.
