Discussion Regarding CAB Is Positive: HBS

Union Home Minister Sri AmitShah had sat for a meeting with Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday night consulted political parties and civil society organisations of Tripura & Mizoram for over 4 hrs on the proposed CAB.

After the meeting, addressing media Sarma said, "Despite Tripura and Mizoram have opposed the CAB, but the complete discussion was positive. The draft of CAB is still not ready. As the draft would ready soon after the discussion, they could see the proposals regarding CAB in the draft and I hope they will agree to accept it.

Moreover, Himanta Biswa Sarma added that there is not any doubt regarding CAB. It will not create any problem for Assam and the people of the state. CAB will pass in both of the houses in December.

Commenting on the stand of Congress he told, Congress has been playing a both sided role. They say to maintain the human rights in the detention camps. Moreover, they criticize BJP and don't let BJP also maintain human rights.

Today he will discuss it with delegations from Assam, Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh. Things are moving in the right direction.
