Do “good work”: Mother suggests Atul Bora

After Asom Gana Parishad (AGP)President Atul Bora hinted at supporting the controversial Citizenship(Amendment) Bill, his mother asked him to "good work", which could help thepeople of the State.

Speaking to Pratidin Time, Bora's mother said, "I have told him to do good work for the people of Assam. He knows what to do or what not to do. I had told him earlier, but this time, he should make the decision on his own."

Bora recently said that itwas time to move ahead with reality and to be practical. He also said thepassage of the Bill was almost inevitable. His remarks later drew sharpreactions from various sections of people.
