Garchuk Police has busted a drug cartel including a key member. The drug peddler has been arrested from Boragaon in the city. He has been identified as Moinal Haque alias Aainal, a youth from Bhagbor in Barpeta district.

Police have managed to seize 25kgs of heroin, cash money worth Rs 1lakh 25 thousand and a motor cycle from his possession. The Assam Police have busted several narcotic drug cartels in the past. According to the information received, members of this cartel are involved in supply of heroin in the state.

The accused was interrogated. He disclosed details of the members of their cartel.
