Drugs peddler arrested in Jagun

Drugs smuggling has been going on in full swing at the various regions of Lekhapani and Jagun in Assam Arunachal border, along with the state.

Based on a tip-off, police arrested a drugs peddler from the Karpong Puli village in Jagun on Monday evening. As per reports, the paddler has been identified as Lagok Singfou (30), a resident of Hasak village under Lekhapani police station.

Reportedly, police have seized 10 grams of Brown Sugar, a mobile phone and a purse from the smuggler. It has been alleged that the accused has been running the smuggling to various places of Jagun and Arunachal Pradesh for a long time.

Police arrested him when he was going to buy drugs from another person to supply named Raja Pegu, a resident of Karpung Puli village under Jagun Police Station.

Moreover, the police have already sent the accused to jail.
