Drugs seized in Karimganj: 2 Arrested

A huge amount of drugs have seized at the Sri Gauri region under Badarpur police station in Karimganj on Wednesday.

As per reports, police arrested two drugs smugglers identified as Nita Chetry, who is the resident of the Balijan region in Karbi Anglong and Kamal Uddin, resident of the Batarshi region in Karimganj. Police seized 11,600 nos of Iyaba tablets from the smugglers, which approximately worth of Rs. 50,00,000.

Reportedly, police started interrogation with both of the accused of further information. It may be stated that Badarpur police seized the bike (AS 01 D 0593), of them.
