The Anti-Smuggling unit of Guwahati Customs Division arrested two persons at Ganeshguri and recovered drugs worth Rs 1,64,45,000 from them.

The two apprehended persons have been identified as Mala Narengbam and Tokyel Khongbal from Imphal.

470 gm of Morphine worth Rs 4,70,000, seven packets of Heroin weighing 85 gm worth Rs 2,55,000 and 15,720 numbers of Methamphetamine worth Rs 1,57,20,000 have been seized from the duo.

Further investigation is going on.
