In a tragic incident, a father stabbed his son to death at Joypur in Duliajan on Saturday night. The incident took place at Bengali block of Joypur where the father kills his son Munindra Phukan.

Theincident occurred as they were having some family issues.

Thefather, Prabhat Phukan took away Munindra's 7-year old son and is nowabsconding.

However, the child has not yet been recovered. The police is investigating into the matter and trying to find out the murderer and has sent the body of Munindra to Dibrugarh Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
