Female Cleaners Stage Protest at Kamakhya Rly Station

The cleaners at Kamakhya Railway Station, Maligaon has staged a protest demanding to pay their remuneration. The protestors alleged that they have been terminated from the job without any notification.

Around 30 cleaners who were working day and night during the time when lockdown and curfew were imposed by the district administration, they have now been told that they need not come to work from now on.

The cleaners who were working under a private firm Impression Services Pvt Ltd have sacked the cleaners without paying them.

Around 30 female cleaners have staged the protest and alleged that they have not made the payment for all these months.
