Financial aid for Nipon Goswami’s treatment

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday announced Rs. 50,000 financial aid for the treatment of veteran actor Nipon Goswami. The aid has been announced from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

It may be mentioned here that the actor has been ill for the last few days and undergoing treatment at a city hospital. CM Sonowal also prayed for the early recovery of the ailing actor.

Earlier, a cheque of Rs. 50 000 was also handed over to the noted actor by Media Advisor to CM Hrishikesh Goswami as per the direction of the Chief Minister.
