Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi slams BJP Government for failing to deliver on promises

Through a press meet on Monday, Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi heavily criticized the Sarbananda Sonowal led BJP government in Assam and the BJP government at the Centre on pretext of the shortcomings and failure to deliver on the promises made by PM Narendra Modi prior to the elections.

Gogoi sarcastically used the famous lines used for CM Sonowal (Khokolure Ananda, Sarbananda) to criticize him and said "Instead of Ananda (happiness), he is bringing tears to the eyes of common man." He also questioned on the slogan that actually turned BJP into a powerhouse that they are now, Acche Din (Good days). He questioned weather good days are here or bad days are here.

Adding to this, the former CM also questioned on PM Modi's promise of providing each citizen with Rs 15 lakh and employment to 4 crore people each year.

Gogoi also questioned the promise of how many illegal foreigners have been thrown out of the State and termed BJP's report card as a 'False Report Card'.
