Four Girls Detained For Submitting Fake HSLC Certificates

Four girls have been detained by city police forsubmitting fake HSLC certificates to get admitted in a city-based college onSeptember 27.

According to reports, the girls were unable toproduce original HSLC mark sheets and documents for their admission to HigherSecondary first-year admission.

The college authorities suspected on submitting thedocuments and contacted their school authorities after which they come to knowthat the girls have not cleared their HSLC examination.

The college authority then filed an FIR at Chandmari police station and based on it the girls have been detained and a case was registered against the accused. After investigation, police found that the certificates are fake.

Police, however, said that three out of the fourwere found to be minors and were subsequently sent to Boko Shelter home inChaygaon as per the instruction of the court and the other was sent to judicialcustody.
