Fuel station in Kaziranga allegedly selling water-mixed diesel

A fuel station in Kaziranga 'Kaziranga Service Station' has been allegedly selling water-mixed diesel to its customers.

Numerous such incidents have come to light with the latest being one where a truck moving towards Tinsukia broke down after refueling at the station located at Kohora last night. Opening the fuel tank revealed high quantity of water in diesel.

"This is not a new incident. The station owner's car itself had broken down after refueling here" said a member of the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), who reached the spot after the incident.

The AJYCP has urged the administration to sealed the fuel station.
