Operations against crime have been being continued at the various regions of Guwahati for a few days. During such an operation, a team of Crime Branch nabbed six gamblers from the House No 6 of Jilmil Path on Friday night.

As per reports, the gamblers have been identified as Mahir Ahmed, MayanMoni Sutradhar, Nazirul Haque, Ujjwal Jyoti Saikia, Abdul Matleb and PrasantHazarika.

Moreover, Crime Branch has been carried out such operations against crime for a long time in the region, and even on Friday night also, six gamblers had nabbed red-handed along with two pairs of playing cards, and Rs. 24,000 cash from the scene.

However, the gamblers had handed over to the police.
