In an operation launched by Juria police under the leadership ofOfficer in-charge Arpan Saikia has exposed one gambling centers and apprehended7 gamblers in Juria.

The identified gamblers are Ikramul Haque, Jaharuddin, Abdul Rahim,Matibur Rahman, Abdul Mannan, Iyakur Ali and Imdadul Haque.

During the operation, police also seized cash, contents used ingambling and some amount of ganja.

The police launched the operation at Kawaimari in Juria on Saturdaynight after they have been informed about the gambling basin being run by somemiscreants illegally.

Police said that they have launched the operation after being informedby locals and they will continue the operation as there are more gambling centersrunning illegally in the area.
