Puskarjyoti Nath – a youth entrepreneur from Assam'sMorigaon district, who recently stole the limelight with his initiative byetching the design of Gamosa on mobile phone covers.

Gamosa is an article of great significance for the people ofAssam. It is generally a white rectangular piece of cloth with primarily a redborder on three sides and red woven motifs on the fourth (in addition to red,other colors are also used).

Although, Puskarjyoti has come up with an initiative by etching the design of Gamosa on mobile phone covers.

According to Nath, this will help enhance the Assamese culture and make people aware about Assam globally. Assamese society can't be imagined without Gamosa. The most interestingly it's not losing its popularity and importance with time, unlike other traditional elements. It has found its way from Handweaving to the machines and also increasing business prospects. It has also found a place in the modern fashion world.
