Gauhati HC orders detailed CBI inquiry into Rakesh Paul’s properties

The Gauhati High Court (GHC) has ordered a detailedCBI inquiry in context of former Chairman of Assam Public Service Commission(APSC) Rakesh Paul's income-property.

Earlier, the CBI was asked to conduct a preliminaryinquiry by HC. Later, the CBI has submitted its report on last week. The CBI Wednesdayapplied in the HC seeking a detailed inquiry into the matter. The HC fixed May 15thas the next date of hearing. Reportedly, a similar application was filed byAkhil Gogoi. Therefore, combining both the petitions, the GHC ordered adetailed CBI inquiry.

Similarly, GHC has ordered an enquiry for Sanjay Shah,who is one of the prime accused of the APSC cash for job scam.
