Gaurav Gogoi appointed as Whip of Congress

CongressMP from Kaliabor, Gaurav Gogoi has been appointed as a whip of Congress Partyin Lok Sabha. Along with Gogoi, Manickam Tagore has also been appointed as awhip the party in parliament.

ChiefWhip of Congress in Lok Sabha, Kodikunnil Suresh has appointed both Gogoi andTagore as whips of CPP on Wednesday. Now the MPs will help the Chief Whip inFloor management and other work relating to meetings, etc.

ChiefWhip, Suresh further requested all the Congress MPs to meet every Tuesdayduring Parliament Session period. The meetings will be presided by theChairperson of the party.
