Ghy-N.Ghy Ferry Service to Resume from Tomorrow

The Guwahati-North Guwahati ferry service will resume from Monday as the water level of Brahmaputra reduced informed Inland Water Transport department.

In a statement issued by the IWT department, it said that only passengers will be able to travel in the ferry keeping in view the rising cases of COVID-19.

All the passengers should wear mask and should maintain social distancing while travelling, said the IWT.

Notably, the ferry service from Guwahati to North Guwahati remained suspended from June 22 due to the rising water level in the Brahmaputra.
