Miscreants on Friday night set a commercial shop and scooter on fire in Guwahati's Basistha locality.
The fire broke out at Sahadev Kalita's shop near Basishta temple while the gutted scooter numbered AS 01ED 3647 belonged to one Bulbuli Hazwary.
An investigation by the city police is under way.
