In yetanother incident of fraud, Golaghat Police has been successful in catching holdof a fake transport official.

Accordingto reports, the fake official, named Arup Baruah has been detained from Jorhat'sKakojan.

Meanwhile,a syndicate which makes fake vehicle Registration Card (RC) has been dug out.In this operation, three thieves along with four stolen bikes and a computerwhich makes fake RC have been recovered.

Police hasalso been able to recover fake smart cards (RC) in a huge amount.

Thearrested thieves have been identified as Bijoy Pegu, Birkuchi Doley and AjouPegu.
