Gold Seized from Guwahati Railway Station, 1 Held

The Railway Police on Tuesday seized a huge amount of gold and apprehended one person in connection to it from Guwahati Railway Station.

Police seized 6 gold biscuits which weighed around 1 kg worth 40 lakhs rupees. The gold has been seized from Brahmaputra Mail while it was being carried to Mumbai.

Police informed that the gold has been brought from Manipur andapprehended the person identified as Abdul Rahim Farook who hails from Kerala.
