Grenades recovered from Guwahati bound bus

The Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) carried a joint operation in the wee hours of Sunday and recovered huge amount of explosives from a passenger in Bokakhat. Acting on a tip off, a team of both police and BSF carried a search operation in a Guwahati bound bus to recover the explosives.

Police detained the passenger, whose identity has not yet been revealed. However, police informed that they have recovered two grenades and a revolver from the person. They also informed that the person is travelling from Dimapur to Guwahati.

Meanwhile, he was taken to the Bagori Police Station to continue the interrogation process, informed police.
