In a sensational incident, two unknown bike-bornemiscreants opened fire on a labourer at Dhekiajuli area on Saturday morning. Thelabourer has been identified as Dhiren Bhui.

According to reports, the incident took place atThelamora Kathani village in Dhekiajuli area, when Dhiren Bhui was engaged insome work. Dhiren was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the police have reached the spot and recovered four empty bullet cartridges from the scene. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. Dhekiajuli police officials said that they have initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
