Guwahati-Dhaka Flight: Tripura Request Stop Over

The Tripura government has requested Spice Jet to connect Agartala in its Guwahati-Dhaka-Guwahati flight route.

Tripura Principal Secretary of Transport LH Darlong on a Sunday in a letter to Spice Jet CMD Ajay Singh said, "The Spice Jet international flight while running from Dhaka on its way to Guwahati may also land at MBB airport here so that the passengers of Agartala can avail the service."

It may be mentioned here that as per report, Spice Jet will introduce international fleets to enhance connectivity between Guwahati and Dhaka from next month adding to its current operations of 43 daily flights connecting 22 Indian cities.
