Guwahati lecturer goes missing after police complaint

The lecturer of the Guwahati based private college, who allegedly made disrespectful comment on the martyr CRPF jawan and on the Kashmir issue, has been missing since Sunday evening.

The Chandmari police on Sunday lodge a complaint against the lecturer and summoned her to the police station.

The lecturer of Guwahati's Icon Academy Commerce College, had posted a comment on facebook regarding the terrorist attack at Pulwama a day after the attack. While she condemned the attack in her post she also criticized the Indian Armed forces and their 'atrocities' on civilians in Kashmir Valley.

Earlier, the authority of the Icon Commerce College has suspended the lecturer with immediate effect on Saturday.
