In a tragic incident, a young man died by suicide on Saturday at VIP Road in Guwahati.

The youth was found hanging on a tree situated in a roadside divider.

The deceased was a tenant at Pathar Quarry but hailed from Mangaldoi. He was working at a grilling shop called Nirupama Engineering.

The cause of his death is yet to be known.
