Guwahati-Singapore flight services to commence from September 1

Guwahati will soon recommence its flight services to foreign countries as Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal today informed about the recent development of Assam's will to be connected with ASEAN countries through the air route.

The CM announced that flight services between Guwahati and Singapore will commence from September 1, with more flights connecting the ASEAN countries with Assam to start operating soon in the near future.

The CM also informed that Assam will soon get amphibious aircraft service.

Spice Jet will start an amphibious aircraft service in the State from October this year, the CM said.

An amphibious aircraft or amphibian is an aircraft that can take off and land on both land and water.
