The auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated today in various places.The birth of Lord Hanuman is celebrated on this day.

The festival of Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with great fervour and devotion in Guwahati too on Friday. On the occasion, the Hanuman temples, including the ones at Lachit Nagar and Dispur, were adorned with lights and other decorations.

From early hours of morning the devotees of Lord Hanuman across all ages were seen visiting the temples to take blessings of Lord Hanuman.

After the puja devotees were served with prasad.The organizers are planning to organize some special programms after the Puja.In some mandirs hawan kirtan and procession on the occassion took place.
