Erosion at Namsaraibari region has been taking frightful turn due to Gandhua River in Gohpur.

Reportedly, people living near the river-bank are facing heavy erosion. As per reports, erosion has reached to such extent that nearly bighas of soil in the region gets eroded.

Due to erosion, the locals of the village have to spend sleepless nights.

Locals have claimed for some permanent erosion preventionmeasures to take by the Water Resource Department of Assam.
