Himanta Biswa Sarma Ranked Best CM For Covid Management: Survey

A survey conducted by India Today stated that Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has been ranked as the 'Best Chief Minister' among the BJP-ruled states.

Chief Minister Sarma shares the rating at 29 percent along with Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

The Mood of the Nation Survey 2021 carried out by India Today mentioned that the Assam Chief Minister has been rated based on spearheading effective Covid management of the second wave of the deadly contagion in the state.  

Dr. Sarma was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state on May 10 this year.

Meanwhile, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik was ranked in second place, followed by Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren in third place.
