Himatsingka family apologises to Assamese people on employee assault case

Mukesh Hyundai MD Rishabh Himatsingka's brother Nitin Himatsingka and mother Kabita Himatsingka organised a press meet and publicly apologised to the Assamese people.

It may be mentioned here that Rishabh was arrested by Dispur Police on Sunday in relation to the assault of an employee at Mukesh Hyundai.

Speaking to media persons, Nitin Himatsingka said that the incident should not be given a communal angle. "It is not an Assamese vs non-Assamese issue and I assure you that such incident will never happen again" he said as he apologised to  the Assamese community across the globe.

He further appealed to the assaulted employee to join his job at the establishment; a promotion as well as salary hike shall be awarded to the employee as compensation.

Rishabh's family also said that they have been staying in Assam for around 100 years. Nitin also said "Joi Aai Axom" while apologising.
