Reacting to the recent media reports that crores of Hindu Bangladeshis ready to come to India (if the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill is passed) Assam BJP President Ranjeet Kumar Dass on Friday said that Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance Secretary General Govinda Chandra Pramanik doesn't know anything about CAB.

A wing of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance Secretary General Pramanik on Thursday claimed that around 2.5 crore Bangladeshis ready to come to India, if the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill is passed.

He claimed that if that happens, the entire demography of Assam and North East will change irreparably. The Hindu religious leader accused the BJP-led government of provoking Hindu Bangladeshis to come to India.

Pramanik also said that India should put pressure on Bangladesh to take back Hindu refugees.
