In view of the improving weather conditions, all schools under Kamrup Metropolitan District will remain open on August 27 and August 28, 2019. The order declaring holiday for two days has been withdrawn.

Earlier, in view of severe heat conditions which is causing great inconvenience to the school-going children, Kamrup (M) DC directed to close down all the schools under government and private sector in Kamrup Metropolitan district for two days.
