I-League : Aizawl FC face Indian Arrows at home

Pratidin Bureau

Former I-League champions Aizawl FC entertain AIFF's developmental side Indian Arrows at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl on Saturday. Both sides will be aiming to earn all three points in the early afternoon kickoff in the midseason fixture. Both the sides are relatively languishing at the bottom of the points table and a win for either sides will strengthen their position to some extent.

Aizawl come on the back of an exciting 3-2 thriller against Gokulam Kerala at home and will be on high spirits specially after that result. Arrows on the other hand, have lost 1-0 in their last game against Churchill Brothers but would be upbeat about their chances in the game ahead.

In the reverse encounter played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on 14th December 2018, Aizawl FC played out a 0-0 draw against the young blues who are in the 10th postion just behind them at 9th.
