DefyingSupreme Court's judgement, illegal cattle trade along the Indo-Bangla borderhas been continuously running over the pastfew days.

In a video, illegal trade ofcattle was seen at Sutarkandi area near India-Bangladesh border under Karimganjdistrict. The market was only 4 km away from the Indo-Bangla border.

It may be mentioned here that the Supreme Court had earlier ruled that cattle markets could not function within 25 kilometres of a State border and 50 kilometres of an international border.
