The Forest and Police Officials, in a joint nocturnal operation, seized a huge chunk of illegal logs last night at Aalupara in Bilasipara.

In the operation, 4 horse carts filled with illegal woods were recovered.

As per reports, Khoraghat Regional Forest Office and Bogoribari Police led the operation. However, the culprits dealing with these illegal logs managed to flee sensing the presence of officials.
