Ghungoor Police on Friday arrested two persons in possession with intoxicants worth Rs 22 lakh.
The intoxicants seized contains 1800 tablets and cartons were wrapped with black plastic.
The arrested were on their way to Karimganj when police intersected the two-wheeler they were riding and arrested them with the banned substances.
The arrested men have been identified as Silchar's Salman Khurshid Mazumdar and Meherpur's Nazim Ghazi.
