Assam daughter, Jamuna Boro has settled for Bronze on her debut at the Women's World Championships in Ulan0Ude, Russia after losing the semi-final bout against Chinese Taipei's Huang Hsiao-Wen in the 54kg. Jamuna lost the match 0-5 against Hsiao-Wen.

Meanwhile,Manju Rani stormed to the final of the World Boxing Championships in Russia'sUlan-Ude on Saturday with a win over her Thai opponent Chuthamat Raksat.Earlier in the day, M C Mary Kom lost her semi-final bout against Turkey'sBusenaz Cakiroglu and took home the bronze medal.

Onthe other hand, the last Indian boxer in the fray is Lovlina Borgohain. Thethird-seed Indian will take on China's Yang Liu in the 69 kg semifinal.
