Janata Bhawan’s security beefed up amid rising protests

Pratidin Bureau

The massive protests that spurred due to the Citizenship Amendment Bill has definitely been able to make the Government take every step amid tight security. Witnessing such agitation, the Assam government is releasing notices one after the other in order to avoid compromise with security.

Janata Bhawan's security has been beefed up due to the ongoing unrest across the state. Seemingly, the government is so terrified that it has issued a notice on the entry of its employees.

It may be noted that fearing entry of protestors acting as employees, the government has directed all its employees to wear their identity cards at all times and there has also been notice issued on the dress code of the employees.

Further, according to the notice, the main entrance of the secretariat will be closed at 10 AM every day.
