In an unfortunate incident, Assam's Jatiyo Sangeet or the State song O' Mur Apunar Desh was sung out its original tune during a meeting attended by Kokrajhar MP Naba Kumar Sarania. The incident took place during the meeting organised to form the BTAD Army in Pathsala town.

With eyes set on 2020 general election of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), the Independent MP has launched the BTAD Army. According to reports, during the meeting, a group of people sang the State song out of its original tune. Along with Sarania, leaders of Oboro Aikya Mancha were also present during the meeting.

The incident drew sharp reaction among various section of society. However, the chairman of the meeting, Brajen Mahanta later sought an apology regarding the incident.
